The Kensington Police Protection and Community Services District is governed by five District Directors. Day-to-day operations are handled by the Chief of Police, who is also the General Manager of the District. Master Sergeant, two sergeants, corporal, five officers, three reserve officers, and the part-time civilian Police Services Specialist, make up the Police Department staffing. The part-time civilian District Secretary is the remaining District employee.
Members of the Department are committed to providing the best service possible to the residents and visitors. Kensington Police Officers perform a variety of services which include; patrol response to crimes in-progress, traffic enforcement, first aid and CPR, investigations, warrant and subpoena service, and many other law enforcement duties.
